Summary: | 博士 === 中原大學 === 工業工程研究所 === 97 === With the increasing price competition, fashion goods have decreasing profit margin. Enterprises need to decrease their costs to increase competitiveness. Inventory management has a significant effect on the service level, the competitiveness and the whole efficiency/effectiveness of a supply chain. The recent short-life or fashion-type products have resulted in uncertain pricing and demand. Researchers and practitioners have primarily investigated the various processes within manufacturing supply chains individually for years. Furthermore, performance, design, and analysis of the supply chain as a whole, has received considerable attention in the supply chain inventory management problems. This study focuses on the integration and dynamic issues of supply chain inventory management. The major purpose of this research is to derive optimal inventory policies for players of a supply chain when the integrated joint total cost and profit are optimized globally. The objectives of this dissertation are to develop mathematical inventory models considering different planning horizons and various issues for fashion product types under the uncertain environment. And in this dissertation we also show the benefits and importance of integration and information for supply chain numbers.
