To excavate the aggregates is forbidden in many rivers in Taiwan, to import aggregates from main land is under control also. The source of aggregates can only give limit supply, huge amount of construction waste is produced from construction works. Because of climate change, to reduce the global warming effects, lower the carbon dioxide emission and save energy are the common goals of the world. If the reprocessed construction waste can be widely applied and be utilized, not only the construction waste can be reduced but also the impact to the environment will be much less ,the problem of lack of aggregates in Taiwan can be solved. The reprocessed aggregates from the previously construction works are used in this research, their physical characteristics related to the codes of aggregates of concrete are met with CNS 1240. From the experiments, their compression strengths of 7 days and 28 days are within the requirements of the concrete codes, fulfill the requirements of the structures strength design. To replace the common aggregates by the reprocessed construction concrete waste is applicable. Furthermore, the reprocessed aggregates can help solve the environmental issue.
