Summary:碩士 === 中山醫學大學 === 護理研究所 === 97 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the safety work practices and factors among nurses and doctors in negative pressure room. Subjects for this cross-sectional survey were recruited from a single teaching hospital medical center in central of Taiwan . A structured questionnaire was used to collect data. Of the 155 surveys distributed, 144 valid (92.9%) were analyzed. This study revealed the following findings:There was limited safety work practices in safety examination of negative pressure domain of engineering control . There was limited safety work practices in education domain of administration and work pratice. There were better safety work practices in personal protective equipment. According to t test ,there was a high safety work practices of engineer controls、administration and work pratice controls and personal protective equipment in female and nurse. According to one-way ANOVA analysis ,the variables that impacted on the level of engineering control were no significant difference except sex and professional title. The variables that impacted on the level of administration controlwere age, and years of work. The variables that impacted on the level of personal protective equipment were years of work and in-service training time and living status .Nurses have more better safety work practices than doctors in four professional variables including knowledge,perception of risk, peer influence,work loading.But Doctors have more better safety work practices than nurses in beliefs/attitudes of professional variables According to multiple regression revealed that there were variables influencing engineering control were knowledge,perception of risk, (nurse vs doctor) .The variables that impacted on the levels of administration and work pratice controls were perception of risk, (nurse vs doctor) , knowledge,age. The variables that impacted on the levels of personal protective equipment were perception of risk, (nurse vs doctor) , knowledge.The results could be a reference for other health administrative organizations and hospitals establishing standard guideline and promote all staff’s in service education about negative pressure rooms.
