However, along with the aggravated competition in the industrial environment and the expectation of the “market-oriented”, maintenance cost is gradually being taken seriously. But the airframe maintenance cost has extremely different characteristics from cost of other industry on many aspects such as habit, estimation and control. Besides, airframe maintenance cost is not in popular demand and there are not enough writings for reference. Aircraft is a very important capital for airlines and maintenance is the foundation of keeping aircraft airworthiness. Every airlines persuading to remain airworthiness by complying most appropriate maintenance on the most expensive capital. This article under some company present condition, seeks for opportunity of the heavy/light maintenance merge execution, reduces the ground time expense.
