Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 97 === This research investigates the determinants of technological innovation outcomes. It focuses on factors including internal and external knowledge sources and firm’s knowledge leverage mechanisms. The past literature stress the importance of internal and external knowledge to technological innovation, however, it doesn't have the complete clear description to dissect how to manage the knowledge leverage mechanisms. Hereunder, in order to discuss the innovation process, I use the knowledge leverage mechanisms to manage the internal research and development and the partnership, and regard the influence of technological innovation. In addition to the discussion of the knowledge sources and leverage mechanisms, I also analyzed the intensity of knowledge, and proposed the different knowledge-intensity industries use diverse degree of knowledge leverage mechanisms. The population in this study is the industries of IC design, electronic components, and network equipment listed in the Taiwan Economic Journal (TEJ). Of the questionnaires, 91 responses were received and valid. It represents a useable response rate of 22%. I hoped that presents this industrial real situation by the top management team’s view and information. By dividing the sample, the major findings of this study include: first, the results of the regression analyses suggest that inter-functional collaboration has positive impacts on the technological innovation performance in non-knowledge-intensive industry. Secondly, the results of the regression analyses suggest that formal knowledge sharing system, inter-functional collaboration and partnership have positive effect on partnership to technological innovation performance in knowledge-intensive industry.
