Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理所暨醫療資訊管理所 === 97 === With the advances in information technology (IT), organizations gradually raised their expectations on the services IT could provide. The Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) provided guidance for an organization to pursue a high level of its IT services and the acquirement of an ITSM certification proved the quality of such services. Although the importance of ITSM could not be over emphasized, ITSM certificates were still not very popular in Taiwan. Why organizations did or did not consider putting efforts to acquire such certificates and what factors affected their intention to undergo such projects had become an interesting and important issue in promoting ITSM. This research explored the factors affecting organizations’ intention to adopt the ITSM Certification. Three factors, namely organizational, environmental, and information technology ande management characteristics, were investigated through questionnaire survey. An analysis of the 196 returned questionnaires showed that top management support, competition intensity and partner pressure, consultant''s professional capability and personnel training, relative advantage, and standarization affected an organization’s intention to adopt an ITSM Certification.
