Among technologies of wireless sensor network, ZigBee is a new communication standard based on the IEEE 802.15.4. Due to the reliability, cost-effective, low-power of ZigBee, the standard is suitable for commercial usage in which needs large number of devices as in healthcare industry. ZigBee-Pro feature set was released in 2007, the new version leverages the number of connectable nodes. Accordingly, some compatibility obstacles between ZigBee feature set and ZigBee-Pro feature set were emerged. For this reason, our study focuses on solving these compatibility obstacles, for example, address assignment and routing. Thus, a framework is proposed in this paper for solving such questions.
