It is so-called “supply-chain.” “Supply chain” means that the process integration among suppliers, producers to customers. Researches evidenced that some outcomes could be achieved by process integration, such as cost reduction, lead-time shortening, rapid response to customer needs, and information sharing, etc. In this study, the author investigated the 811 firms listed in Taiwan Stock Exchange by the “supply-chain survey.” The 99 surveys were collected and analyzed the relationship among supply-chain characteristics, IT attributes, and supply-chain performance. There are three characteristics of process integration, series of management for sales and production, and strong partnership in supply-chain environment. It is also evidenced that there are the significantly positive relationships between the supply-chain characteristics and supply-chain performance.
