In America, there are about range from twenty percents to fifty percents outpatiens do not follow the doctor orders to take the medicine; this behavior is called “noncompliance”. How to remind patients effectively of taking the medicine and to provide patients with correct medication informations and medication education is very importment. So how to let patients know the clinical use of the medicine, warnings of the medicine, and the side effects of the medicine become the key factors in safety of medicines.
This thesis indicates a new solution, called “Nurse 365 System”. “Nurse 365 System” is based on the common mobile devices like cell phones or PDAs and integrated with Web Service in Service Oriented Architecture. Apply XML, SOAP, and WSDL technology in Web Service to solve the heterogeneous environment problem in mobile communication devices and computer servers. “Nurse 365 System” uses alarm and send SMS message to remind users take the medicine in time, and uses electric pet game to teach children with the correct concept of taking the medicine.With the Web Services of medication inquire and information collection, “Nurse 365 System” can collect correct medication informations and medication educations from Internet, transform html information into XML message and deliver to user mobile devices, to provides patients with correct medication informations and medication educations, let patients know the clinical use of the medicine, how to take the medicine correctly, warnings of the medicine, and the side effects of the medicine.
