However,persion’s position is an important element in Context-Aware, how to provide a wide range of useful and accurate location information is a very important key.。In this paper , we developed A Signal Strength Feature Based Indoor Positioning System for Handheld Devices. We use fingerprint method to achieve wide-area location positioning. in order to enhance system scalability , we realized the Distributed Location Computing Architecture, modulized environment parameter with fingerprinting method and Artificial Neural Network so that Self-Positioning device can use it to calculate position without through server. moreover , we put the concepts of vote and key points, with the environment model to improve positioning accuracy. In addition, the positioning device can also be based on the location of environmental parameters to update the system easy to expand the range of services to meet the ubiquitous computing. Finally, based on the concept of Context-Aware, we realized a simple platform. By reducing the burden on the server, Shortened the time to provide efficient services, we will be able to integrate more information in the platform. And use these information we realized some example services such as fixed voice prompted navigation system, Real-Time Personal Guild System and message switching system. This paper covers the deployment , compatibility , performance ,information services of indoor positioning technology , make a complete core for Positioning Mobile Devices and Context-Aware Service.And on this basis can be more easily develop more interactive services diversity , such as Health and medical care、shopping and exhibition guide system、lost searching Association.
