Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程所 === 97 === This thesis presents application and study of high frequency magnetic components for an active-clamp forward converter with synchronous rectifier. Recently, the usage of planar transformers and inductors has gradually increased. Due to high efficiency, low leakage inductance, low volume size and wide operating frequency, planar transformers have gradually substituted for conventional ones. In the thesis, first, analysis and design consideration of the topology of an active-clamp forward converter with synchronous rectifier are presented. Then, the performance and comparison of measurements of the circuit operated at the frequencies of 250 kHz and 500 kHz are discussed. Finally, the transformers with different types of material, such as 3C96 manufactured by Ferroxcube and MZ49 and MF91 by Himag Magnetic Corporation are used in the design, from which experimental measurements have verified its feasibility.
