To investigate current condition of elementary school organizational culture and the teachers’ morale in Chang-Hwa County. 2. To examine the difference between elementary school organizational culture and the teachers’ morale, which caused by different background factors. 3. To explore the relationship between elementary school organizational culture and the teachers’ morale. 4. To analyze the effects of elementary school teachers’ demographic variables and organizational culture on the teachers’ morale. The presented study used survey method and elementary school teachers in Chang-Hwa County were chosen as samples. According to the ratio of the school size, 57 schools, 580 teachers were sampled to answer the researcher-developed questionnaire, The Survey of the Investigate on the organizational culture and the teachers’ morale. In all of the 526 questionnaires sent back from 55 schools, 520, 89.66%, are usable. The data were analyzed by methods including descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and stepwise multiple regression. The following conclusions were made according to the results from the investigation: 1. In current stage, the extent of teacher’ perception on organizational culture and the teachers’ morale of elementary school in Chang-Hwa County was above average. 2. Significant differences were found on the part of elementary school teachers’ perception of overall organizational culture, given the consideration of teachers’ demographic variations: school zone. Teachers in Chang-Hwa city have the highest perception level. 3. Significant differences were found on the part of elementary school teachers’ perception of overall teachers’ morale, given the consideration of teachers’ demographic variations: administrative duties. Teachers serve as directors have the highest perception level. 4. Significant differences were found on the part of elementary school teachers’ perception of overall teachers’ morale, given the consideration of teachers’ demographic variations: school zone. Teachers in Chang-Hwa city have the highest perception level. 5. Organizational culture and the teachers’ morale have significant positive relationship. 6. The different teachers’ background factors and organizational culture have significant influence on their teacher’s morale. Support culture is the most effective factor. At last, according to the above-mentioned research conclusions, relevant suggestions are further proposed, which can be references for educational administration authorities, elementary school principals and related researches in the future. 陳幸仁 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 150 zh-TW
