This study aimed at Taiwan''s listing of the packaging industry optoelectronic industry manufacturers, contains the electro-optical components, optoelectronics displays, optical output in, optical storage and optical communication industrial six classifications, and data sources during this period, mainly taken from Taiwan''s economic news database from 2001 to 2007 the company has collected the information it collects and investment-related data output, 47firms.Analysis of results by the empirical analysis, observed that the Taiwan optoelectronic industry, research and development costs of inputs, affect the company''s overall productivity and efficiency, while the market more well-known manufacturers such as the brotherhood, Chi Mei, and so the company''s investment and productivity is also very efficient, this also and in recent years Taiwan''s overall output value of optoelectronic industry rise trend coincides with, but also to the Taiwan optoelectronic manufacturers past research and development input validation in doing the best.
