As can be seen from the constant debate and skepticism among countries, it is obvious that the intellectual rights for genetic resources will not be won or lost easily, and the solution is still far from reach. A disclosure requirement, however, must be advanced to realize any progress in protecting the developing countries'' interests of maintaining biodiversity and preserving rights to the resources located within their own countries.
