Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 化學所 === 97 === Copper metal catalysts are extensively used in the coupling reactions including formation of C-O bond, C-N bond, C-C bond, and C-S bond. In previous reports, most researchers directly used copper source with ligands as the catalyst of coupling reaction. However, some researchers believe that copper source and ligands preformed complex, which is considered as the catalyst in the coupling reaction. In order to understand the actual form of catalyst, we used three types of copper complexes ( [CuII2(phen)2Cl4]、[CuI(phen)I]2、[CuI(phen)2]I ) and commercial copper source with ligand (CuI / 1,10-phenanthroline) as the catalysts for C-O coupling reaction. The reactivities of these catalysts are compared and discussed.
Results of interaction between base and copper complex indicate the existence of intermediate which is suggested to be the actual catalyst.
