Having the more rapid convergence and more accurate estimation is the important requirement of the system. This work presents the 3-D motion equation of ballistic missile and adopts the extended Kalman filter, the adaptive Kalman filter, and the intelligent fuzzy weighted input estimation method to estimate the state parameters and to simulate the trajectory of ballistic missile. By analyzing the performance of three estimation methods considering the influence due to the variation of the ballistic coefficient and external force input, the intercept and attack points of the missiles can be estimated. The simulation demonstrates that the intelligent fuzzy weighted input estimation method has the better estimative performance. It is an estimator which can enhance the input signal tracking capability and reduce the noise effect. Using the intelligent fuzzy weighted input estimation method to estimate the trajectory of enemy missile will improve the intercept probability.
