Examining the Gonguoge text with Song, Ming, Ching dynasties’ historical backgrounds in order to comprehend women’s role expectation, which is Three Obligations(obeying father before marriage, a husband when married and sons in widowhood) and Four Virtues(morality, proper speech, modest manner and diligent work)the society. According to the book in Song dynasty, Taiwei Xianjun Gongguoge which focus more on encouraging people to practice the good deeds than measuring women’s behaviors. However, during the Ming dynasty, the floating trade caused the great impact of social status which leaded to traditional society was faced the re-organized. Comparing Song with Ming dynasties, Ming’s Gonguoge had clear principals of social moral standards in measuring women’s behaviors. Ching dynasty, the nation and the emperor preserved and advocated the Confucius’ concepts in order to govern the Han and keep the harmonious society. Gonguoge was used by gentry-official in Confucius’ conceptions to conduct the social control in the man dominate society. In the view of Folk Religion of Gonguoge of women’s moral standards, rewards and punishments in the Gonguoge had been carried out strictly by the time. The Gonguoge not only reflected that local society was controlled by the nations but also showed that the nations was balanced by local society.
