First for the non concentrator, it adopts a used flat-plate collector and two layers of glazing plate to build the non concentrator. After improvement, its performance reaches 0.45 at operating parameter = 0.06(i.e.collector entrance temperature 95℃). Its performance is 29﹪higher than one of first-generation cpc (Compound Parabolic Concentrator) developed inlabo-ratory already. The non concentrator has several characteristics such as: 1. Enhanced heat preservation performance with double glazing plates. 2. Increased thermal performance with double glazing plates as operatingtemp-erature over 100℃. 3. Lower manufacture cost with a used flat-plate collector. Secondly, the study has finished a design of CAC (Compound Arc Concentrator) and obtained a test result of its linear reflector type. For the theoretical optics simulation of CAC. Its light flux reaches 0.8 high in four seasons after its best design. Although the testing thermal performance of linear reflector type one is low as applied temperature is over 100℃. It can also supply good suggestions about heat prevervation for CAC in the future. J.
