Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 藝術管理研究所 === 96 === Aesthetic education and art education cultivate people’s accomplishments in the humanities and appreciation of beauty; furthermore, the capability of beauty appreciation can be fostered through planed environment and the Constructivism education theory, and by knowing children’s characteristics to promote their aesthetic development stage by stage. Aiming to the ignorance of aesthetic education in Taiwan for a long period of time, this research advances that children’s art museum is the best environment for aesthetic education, for children’s art museum provides aesthetic experiences and media in order to encourage children to construct their own individual aesthetic value. To complement art education at school and private children talent classes which over-emphasize the tangible products of art creation, the core of children’s art museum education contains museum objects, exhibitions, museum activities, professional knowledge, and accords with children’s needs; as a result, the children’s art museum is the indispensable and the best field for aesthetic education.
