This thesis presents a design of a wireless signal repeater for the applications of digital TV reception. It is consisted of two antennas, a low noise amplifier (LNA) and a high power amplifier (PA).One of the antennas is used to receive signals that are significantly strong at a place where the repeater will be used. The received signal will now go through LNA to reduce noises and further strength by PA to increase the power density; which is then re-radiated by the second antenna. These strategies allow the TV signal strengths to increase by many dBs depending on the availability of PA, and can be used in places such as basements, where TV signals are very weak. Experimental results shows that this repeater allows the TV signals well received when the receiver deeply inside a room.
