Because both parties do not trade directly face-to-face, the safe trade and the uncertain factor of keeping secret etc., become the main topic that the enterprise and consumers concern. The scholars consider the safe trade though the network platformis is one of the social safety and predict in the future, it will be the global mainstream. Nowadays, lots of countries carry on doing the test amount and planning on the system on the policy to the safe mechanism of the trade of the network.
In the past course of e-commerce trade, the first step is to put SSL encryption system, and promote SET authentication mechanism afterwards. But the course of the two systems display the deficiency of the safe mechanism. So the scholars consider that the censorship of the electronic signature system is too loose. The problem is in the credibility issue in the Certificate Authority. So in this paper, I try to discuss the posibility of puting the Biometric Authentication Technologies in to the e-commerce.
Taking a broad view of the systems of electronic signaturesin system, standards of granting of various countries do not seem very rigorous and unanimous. Therefore, the scholars proposes that in the policy, the governmentgovernment need to set up the system of perfecting and offer standardization. In this paper, I will discuss the electronic signatures in the Japan , U.S.A. , and Taiwanese to inspect how the government plan the system and try to propose the policy.
Disscusing the posibility of puting the Biometric Authentication Technologies in to the e-commerce, I find that the biometric authentication technologies are the catergory of electronic signaturesin. The electronic signaturesin laws in the Japan , U.S.A. , and Taiwanese are all holding the principle of technology neutrality, to ensure the data can keep complete in the transmission process and identify the user's status. This kind of technique can be used to make electronic signature and are not limited in encrypt technique. So it crests the digital authentication technologies in succession. To discuss the SET, SSL, and the biometric authentication technologies, we can find that the cost is very important. On the other hand, privacy policy is still be queried.
In the domestic respect, the government should establish the investigation organization to examine the folk authentication mechanism and check authentication mechanism equipment. So the government must have suitable professional knowledge levels to set up the rigorous model. The government must observe the trend of electronic signature system and keep the technology neutrality to revise the laws. Therefore, the suitable new developing identity of protecting consumers of electronic signature system can stands erect and does not shake in the Warring states era of e-commerce .
