Taiwan’s population was ranked the second highest density during the end period of last year.Most of Taiwanese have considered about their working environment and living features, thus the majority of them had chosen to live in cities.Most of the buildings in these cities are built over decades ago and they are not applicable to the current era. These old styled buildings have very limited spaces and have “illegal add-on” on their roof tops.Once the building catch on fire severe damages and loses of life would be expected. As a result, studies on “fire disasters” become an important job to prevent similar tragedies from happening. This study uses FDS to analyze actual fire scene to compare the relations of different variables. Through these variables we hope to understand how these variables would affect personals from escaping from the scene.This study can also predict what the changes in the surroundings when tragedy happens, especially temperature distribution, gas layer height and concentration of CO in the fire site at the time of fire.By studying the relationships of fire scenes and these variables, we can prepare ourselves with a much more complete fire-prevention environment and have ourselves pay attention to every single important aspect in our daily life. 林誠興 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 146 zh-TW
