Biotechnology applications cover the fields of pharmaceuticals, health care, electronics and computers, materials science and chemical engineering, resources and environmental protection, foods, and agriculture. Use of biotechnology in product R&D and manufacturing can reduce production costs, ease environmental impact, and ultimately improve human quality of life. We start with the industry analysis, market analysis covering both global and domestic, summarized with SWOT analysis. We further analyze a case company using Five Forces Analysis and the SWOT analysis. We aim to find out the competitive strength of the industry, to know how to make successful managerial strategies in such a competitive yet potential industry, and how the company does to maintain strong competition power and to be in good status to compete against other rival companies. 鄭雅穗 學位論文 ; thesis 57 zh-TW
