碩士 === 元智大學 === 管理研究所 === 96 === The ultimate goal for assisting patient in pain management is to minimize the pain to an acceptable range by the patient, as pain is one of the most common and fearsome symptoms of all. No matter the nature of the pain, nursing stuffs should discuss, which includes on the understanding, previous experiences on pain assessment, with the patient on the efficiency of the methods and routes in order to achieve optimal pain management. The effectiveness on pain assessment and management depends on the knowledge and attitude and management practices of the nursing stuffs, which in turns with a precise assessment would help to solve the social, spiritual, psychological and physical aspects of the patient. The aim of this study is to improve on the level of pain management. By reevaluate the attitudes and methods of the nursing stuffs on facing pain sufferers; a standardized flow chart could be then built for comparison, in this way the quality and efficiency of nursing care will be improved and lead to a better satisfactions by the patient.
