Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 96 === This paper proposes a novel radio resource management scheme in the link adaptive WiMAX network and the hierarchical priority-queuing with weighted round-robin (HPWRR) scheduling algorithm for differentiated services. The radio resource management scheme can re-assign the burst profile and dynamically adjust the allocated bandwidth to the SSs to improve the resource utilization. Then, the HPWRR scheduling algorithm uses the multi-levels hierarchical scheduling architecture and uses different scheduling algorithms fit to each traffic type, respectively. Furthermore, the multicast session is considered as the new traffic type in the proposed scheme to guarantee the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. Simulations show that the proposed methods can get lower delay, better bandwidth utilization and higher throughput.
