However, most of them were seeking for an available shortest path; the issues of saving battery power had not been considered. In the network environment, Best Effort methods might cause some problems such as rapidly reducing the energy of partial nodes, increasing the packets delay time, the network overloading and the decline of transmission rate. Then, the overall network efficiency will be decreased. Besides, due to the dynamic changes of network topology, it has become an important issue to provide dynamic adjustment of Multipoint Relay for each path. This thesis proposes a mechanism to consider the remaining energy of a node and its velocity. Through periodically probing the velocity and the remaining energy of a multipoint relay node, each source node could select a better transmission path to utilize the power of all the nodes more balance,and the number of broke paths might be reduced.
