Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 文化資產維護系碩士班 === 96 === Abstract Traditional Taiwanese folklore, such as Liu-Fang-Ma ceremony, is not a daily activity, but a fusion of both ceremony and games of non-daily social life. This is a study of a case of Liu-Fang-Ma Ceremony as Yunlin folklore religion, investigating residents'' participating motivation and effect, agreements of guo-lu, division of work, and the change and dispute of guo-lu. The study used semi-structural interviews with the Liu-Fang-Ma organization members, ceremony hosts, and followers of Wu-Koo Township, and adopted the viewpoint of Using folklore and intangible culture heritage to analyze residents'' participating motivation and effect, agreements of guo-lu, division of work, and the change and dispute of guo-lu. The results were found and shown as fellows: 1.In terms of Ceremony Participants’ Motivations and Effects: The participating motivations is involved with three types –spontaneity, traditional and non-spontaneity. The efficacious stories about Liu-Fang-Ma includes ancient or modern oral legendary and personal experience;The religion of Liu-Fang-Ma provided its believers with more protection, mind appeasement and spiritual support effects. Believers think that the belief of Liu-Fang-Ma hold the attitude of awe, doing volunteer self-regard self-help but non-request and pantheism. 2.In terms of Ceremony agreements of quo-lu: In the course of ceremony, it includes the stove host election、stove host financial affairs, the usage conventional rules of Liu-Fang-Ma organization and pilgrimage. The procedure of ceremony includes preparation for pilgrimage and pilgrimage. 3. In terms of Ceremony division of work: The stove host is responsible for administration. The Liu-Fang-Ma organization is responsible for abidance and administration. But for mobilization, the stove host is responsible for mobilizing association, oneself and the believers near township. Liu-Fu-Ma Organization is responsible for mobilizing ensemble. 4. In terms of Ceremony Change and Dispute: Following the progress of time, the Liu-Fang-Ma Ceremony adopts commend managing the table outside, expansion of red temple, together-worshiping, organization corporation, ceremony festival, choosing day basing on the two-day-off per week policy .
