Ministry of Education has also continuously proceeded education policy and object reformation. Therefore, how to enhance education content in modern Multi-society and our education environment is a considerable issue. This investigation aims to analyze the vocational high school''s color principles curriculum content. It is separated in three stages in study process: The first stage is to discuss specific area of chromatics principles, using "reference analysis method” in organizing and concluding relative books of chromatics to analyze knowledge and professional theories of common used chromatics books. The second stage is to discuss current vocational high school''s chromatics curriculum, and to collect curriculum standards of vocational high school which was promulgated in 1998. Moreover, to study and analyze four publisher''s Long-Tern, Dong-Da, Guan-Sin, Chuan-Hua book - chromatics I & II - to understand the similarities and differences among current textbooks in teaching content and compilation design. The third stage is using the questionnaire to analyze and compare different viewpoint to chromatics principles curriculum among professors、vocational high school teachers and business people in this field, and also perform DELPHI professional questionnaire , to cohere experts'' opinions. Finally, using the conclusion of this investigation, suggest proposals of vocational high school''s chromatics curriculum content to provide future design basis about relative curriculum of chromatics.
The investigation results are enumerated in the following:
1. Color principles curriculum scheme of design group promulgated in 2006 curtailed from 4 credits in 2 semesters to 2 credits in 1 semester. Others like teaching object and teaching units about the same with which promulgated in 1998.
2. Current chromatics textbooks have differences in "units and pages", "professional terms", "numbers of table" and "numbers and type of exercise" among different publishers'' editions.
3. Experts with different circles have different viewpoint in current vocational high school''s chromatics curriculum content. Furthermore, individuals from different background in the study have their own opinions in certain specific units.
4. According to the result of DELPHI professional questionnaire, concludes the final edition of vocational high school''s color principles curriculum which experts identify. The curriculum includes 21 unites and 59 contents. 6 units in the curriculum - "anomalistic sense of color and its inspect method", "color tones", "signal and symbol of color", "color photography", "color television", "color printing" - are absent in current one.
5. After analyzing current chromatics curriculum content and the questionnaire investigation results of experts, suggests final curriculum content to adapt vocational high school''s color principles curriculum of design group. The content divided into basic and application part for total 11 units. The basic part includes 6 units - "light and color", "color system", "fundamental colors and component of light", "balance of light", "sense of color", and "color combination and blend."; the application part includes 5 units - "signal and symbol of color", "color photography", "color television", "color printing", and "color plan and applications"
