Summary: | 碩士 === 育達商業技術學院 === 資訊管理所 === 96 === Due to the progress of technology, the applications of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) have become more and more popular recently. The RFID industry has such great potential in lots of places, such as warehouse, manufacture, logistics, medical treatment, transportation, retail sale, national defense, and so on. It has brought convenience to life and also increasd the market opportunities and competitions for various of industries.
There are two important parts of the RFID operation: receiving and transmissing. It not only transmits the information between reader, server and application, but also takes responsibile for the stability and security of the whole system. If any part of it was imperfection designed or out of security guard, it will cause descents and destructions to the system easily, and the cost which the enterprise needs to pay will be huge.
Many scholars have mentioned that the RFID doesn't provide any direct defense for the problem of data transformation. Therefore, many security and technical researches focus on solving the problems of privacy and security for RFID. This thesis explores how to incorporate Message-Digest Algorithm 5 (MD5) and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) into RFID system to increase security protection.
