Time is also a crucial element that will change a person’s thought. In this research, I will explore how I myself have been inspired by my emotions, thoughts, and experiences at certain stage and how I make my art works into beings through my life experiences. I put what I have experienced at this stage of my life into my art creation and use what I have realized in my life as my art creation themes. The process of flower growth is just like human beings’—blooming, fading, and different growth periods. The appearance of flowers, thus, can be seen the metaphors of individual inner emotions. There are plenty of different-size sinuous shapes, moving towards the center and perimeter of tableau to convey the orientation and velocity of lives and thoughts. With fictional plant shapes interlocked and dotted-and-linear fragmental images on the tableau, the theme, desire, is formed by various interlaced thoughts and emotions. Therefore, “Metaphors of Flowers and Facets of Lives” presents my inner thoughts and emotions from the past that are inevitable elements added into my works. My works are intimately related to the surroundings in which I live and with which I interact. Sometimes, uncompromising and accepting attitudes towards different periods of lives are symbolically sketched in accordance with different kinds of flowers, full of vitality and colors. They seem concrete, but slightly abstract when the drawing is dealt with metaphorically. Projecting a train of feelings into the works, I symbolically present my way of art creation through flowers’ ecology, so readers can naturally appreciate what the tableau tries to convey and indulge themselves in it. Using flowers as the art creation theme in the present stage is a valuable research experience, so they become the focus of this research in my art creation discussion.
