ital dentistry instead of traditional dental cast. It’s not necessary for complete tooth geometry model during tooth restorations. It only crucial margin curve of tooth.
In this research , will develop noncontact single CCD scanning measurement system for crucial margin curve during tooth restorations. The measurement system based on a modified simulated triangular algorithm includes a vertical moveable CCD camera. The cavity on the traditional dental cast-impression tray is used to measure and model with crucial margin curve of tooth and satisfied demand , reach precision 0.01mm needed in the medical field of tooth. Systematic quantity examines so the precision demand that this system can not reach the medical field of tooth of the precision yet in 0.136mm at present.
