Summary: | 碩士 === 大同大學 === 化學工程學系(所) === 96 === Sodium carbonate in the fixed and fluidized beds was used as the sorbent to capture carbon dioxide and to examine the effects of carbon dioxide sorption capacity and the regeneration of sodium carbonate sorbent in different reaction conditions. Then, the supports such as activated carbon and aluminum oxide were impregnated with different concentrations of sodium carbonate solution and the repetitive carbon dioxide sorption characteristics were observed. The experimental parameters included carbonation temperature, carbonation time, calcination temperature, calcination time, carbon dioxide concentration and the kinds of support with impregnation concentrations of sodium carbonate. Conversions for the carbonation/calcination of sodium carbonate were evaluated under different operating conditions. The empirical models for the decay of the carbon dioxide capture capacity in multiple carbonation/calcination cycles were presented in comparison with the experimental results.
