Therefore there’re three purposes for the research: 1. To analyze the influences of adventure education on teenagers’ self-evaluation of problem-solving abilities; 2. To compare the difference of teenager’s problem-solving ability self-evaluation by different variations (gender, age and birth order), before and after the execution of an adventure education program. 3. To develop the adventure education program to promote teenagers’ problem-solving ability. The research used 31 scouts from the Junior High Division of Taipei County San-Min Senior High School, with a three-day adventure education program, preceded and ended with a test of the “teenagers’ problem-solving ability self-evaluation form”, which was edited by ourselves, for comparing the results of the program. The 31 questionnaires that were given to the research subjects are all good sampling, in which the obtained data used descriptive, dependent and independent samples t-test and one-way ANOVA for the analysis. The conclusion of the research results are shown below: 1. Before and after the execution of the adventure education program, there was a remarkable difference on the influence of the teenagers’ problem-solving ability. 2. Regarding different gender, there was no remarkable difference between the teenagers’ self-evaluation to their problem-solving ability after the execution of the adventure education program. 3. Regarding different ages, there was no remarkable difference between the teenagers’ self-evaluation to their problem-solving ability whether before or after the execution of the adventure education program. 4. Regarding different birth order, there was no remarkable difference between the teenagers’ self-evaluation to their problem-solving ability whether before or after the execution of the adventure education program.
