Summary:碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 運動科學研究所 === 96 === Research on Joining Motivations and Constraints of Sports Club among Students for Independent Institute in Taipei Graduate student:Teng, Chung-Tan Advisor:Lin, Kuo-Jui Abstract The main purposes of this study were: (a) identify the current status of joining motivations and constraints among students for independent institute in Taipei; (b) investigate the differences demographic background of joining motivations among Students for Independent Institute in Taipei; (c) investigate the differences demographic background of constraints among Students for Independent Institute in Taipei; (d) examine the relationships between joining motivations and constraints among Students for Independent Institute in Taipei. There were 533 subjects, 310 males and 223 females, drawn from the Students of participative Sports Club (organizations) for Independent Institute in Taipei. All the subjects were administered “The Questionnaire on Joining Motivations and Constraints of Sports Club among Students for Independent Institute in Taipei”. Questionnaires were administered to the selected subjects and 528 surveys returned from the samples were identified to be valid. The valid percentage was 88%. The data obtained by questionnaire was analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation. The findings of the study were as follows: (a)For joining motivations of sports club among students: demand of health suitably energy was a top priority and then, in demand of self-achievement, demand of mind, demand of society; For constraints: external factor was affected maximally and then, personal factor; (b) joining motivations of sports club had significant difference on serving organizer of sports club or not, participant frequency of students, having a part time job or not; (c) constraints had significant difference on participant frequency of students; (d) personal factor in constraints was negatively associated with health suitably energy and demand of self-achievement in joining motivations, demand of mind in joining motivations was positively associated with external factor in Constraints.
