Three questionnaires designed by the author were utilized for data collection including (a) demographic information sheet; (b) Students’ Evaluation of Physical Education Teacher’s Teaching Scale; (c) Learning Effect of Physical Education Scale. The sample was 1440 students randomly selected from twelve high schools by stratified sampling. From the survey returned, 1336 were coded. The valid response rate was 92.8%. Descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s Post Hoc Comparison, and Pearson Product-Moment correlation were computed for data analysis. The results indicated that (a) the scores of Taipei High School students’ evaluation of physical education teachers’ instruction were moderately high; (b) the scores of Taipei High School students’ learning effect of physical education were also moderately high; (c) the significant differences were found on students’ evaluation of physical education teachers’ instruction by gender, school type, grade, and different exercise degree per-week; (d) the significant differences were found on students’ learning effect of physical education by gender, school type, grade, and different exercise strength weekly; and (e) students’ evaluation of physical education teacher’s instruction and students’ learning effect of physical education were positively correlated significantly.
