| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 舞蹈創作研究所 === 96 === Having worked as a dance teacher at Loutung Junior High School for nearly twelve years, I deeply felt that it was necessary to learn more for my students. In this way, my teaching materials will be enriched and teaching quality can also be enhanced. Thus, I decided to further my study to earn MFA degree in the graduate school of choreography, Taipei National University of the Arts, which was my Alma Mata. Fortunately, I passed the examination in 2003. This written report shows my thoughts related to my graduation production. Its contents mainly focus on the working process of the graduation production entitled 【Traces of Self-Discovery】.
Chapter One addresses the motivation for me to further study, and what I have achieved after completing credits. Chapter Two presents the inspirational ideas of different choreographic pieces, working procedures, how to select dancers and other working partners. The problems, how to make better decisions in creating dances, selecting dancers, and communicating with designers are illustrated, and the possible solutions are also revealed. Chapter Three introduces key persons to the production including the costume designers, the photographer, the art designer, the music arranger, as well as the executive producer. Chapter Four describes my introspection and my expectation for the future.
