However, Clara Schumann, who was a female musician, played a crucial role in the field. There was no doubt that she owned something very exceptional and prominent that could be respected by others. Therefore, she had a great influence on the whole society in Germany. Furthermore, Clara Schumann, a pianist, composing just a few vocal works, must have been touched by the poems she selected then made them to her works. That was also one of the reasons that I was interested in doing the research about her vocal works.
