| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 視覺藝術研究所 === 96 === Based on the self life experience as a traveler, this study probed into the changing and expressing of ideas under the transition of time and space. From internal dialogues and introspections, motivations for creative art making were formed to regain self position and self identity through action and implementation.
This study was composed of six chapters, and each of which could be summarized as follows:
Chapter 1: Introduction of the research motivation, objectives, methodology, and procedure.
Chapter 2: Introduction of the theoretic foundations of this study, including the theories in aesthetics, history of art, philosophy, and psychology.
Chapter 3: Based on the life experience of a traveler, this study explained the contexts presented in the creative works.
Chapter 4: An analysis of the contents, forms, and techniques of this series of works was performed.
Chapter 5: An explanation was provided using three series of works, including 「self quest series」, 「meeting of the past and the present series」, and 「time piazza series」.
Chapter 6: Experiences of creative art making and directions for future efforts were explained in this concluding chapter.
