Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 課程與教學研究所碩士班 === 96 === The aim of the research is to probe into the teacher’s belief of a kindergarten teacher, the thread of belief formation and the mutual influence and the challenges of the belief and it’s implementation. The study used qualitative research. According to the research, we came to 4 conclusions:
1. The formation of the teacher’s belief is under the influences of education of her parents, models from other teachers, inservice training, partner of the same class, experiences as a mother, and especially experiences as a volunteer in other areas etc.
2. The teacher had clear beliefs about teaching, children learning and interaction with parents. And the belief had great influences on the design of activities , the uses of teaching materials and the decision making in the classroom.
3. The teacher’s belief also reflected on her implementation. The belief about pursuit of the growth of a “whole person” supports the teacher’s instruction implementation. And reading, further education and experiences as a volunteer in other areas took her on the route of interaction with children with love.
4. The teacher was in the formatted culture of kindergarten. Other partners were hardly to be professional helpers to support and learned from each other.
Finally, we gave some suggestions to other teachers and future research.
