Taking this novel as my research, I first give some basic knowledge of this book by winnowing the false from the true. In the meanwhile, I induce Chang’s definition of human nature according to the analysis of the three parts in the novel─overturning love, deconstruct familial love and dispelling friendship. I then interpret the profound discussion about human nature implied in the book. Secondly, through the description and conversation of the fictitious characters, I prove the ingredients of autobiography by means of cross analysis. Furthermore, I try to figure out the artistic manifestation of Chang’s later period of writing by analyzing the writing skills, allegory idiosyncrasy and space-time arrangement of the content. Finally, I will discuss about Chang’s different writing style in her early and late period, the possible reasons and process of her change and, eventually, the meaning and value of Chang’s later period of writing style. 江惜美 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 313 zh-TW |
