First of all, by studying their life and time, figuring out the relationship between the two factors and the poems, we could work out how they affect their poems. Secondly, by analyzing and classifying the connotations of their homesick poems, we could better understand the two poets’ nostalgic awareness and affections toward their blood-relation so that to collate the feelings of homesickness the poets want to convey. Bothe Lomen’s and Yungtze’s homesick poems were produced from 1950, the time they came to Taiwan to 1987, when they could visit their hometown China again. Lomen’s poems could be sorted into four kinds: "Home-loving Poems," in which the poet conveyed his love for his hometown, “Homesick Poems," which he expressed his homesickness, "Home Remembrance Poems," which he cherished the memory of his hometown, and “Family Remembrance Poems,” in which he memorized his family in China. As for Yungtze, her homesick poems could be classified into three categories “memory of her hometown,” “feelings about homing,” and “homesickness,” based on the contents of her poems. Finally, we examine the contents and forms of their homesick poems and try to grasp their aesthetic styles. Yungtze has been persisting in literary writings, and her poetry especially contains a style of classical beauty, which emphasizes both sense and sensibility. Lomen’s poems consists of both Chinese and universal points of view, which appear after a conversation between Chinese and western cultures. Yungtze is like a sapodilla in the territory of poetry, a “green lotus” which never withers away and a flying “blue bird” which always carries happiness. Overall, their homesick poems are worth inquiring thoroughly. 江惜美 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 270 zh-TW
