In order to remedy this situation, we propose a digital calligraphy system such that students can easily use personal computers to carry on the creation and exercise of calligraphy. Thus, based on our system, traditional calligraphy can have brand new applications. In this paper, we will first show the basic principles and implementation of our proposed system. Then, we will demonstrate the results of various writing techniques of the regular script (楷書) of our system.
