| Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 96 === Calligraphy is a kind of traditional and beautiful oriental culture. However, with the prevalence of digitization of documents, oriental students gradually give up learning this traditional hand-writing skill. In order to remedy this situation, we propose a digital calligraphy system such that students can easily use personal computers to carry on the creation and exercise of calligraphy. Thus, based on our system, traditional calligraphy can have brand new applications. In this paper, we will first show the basic principles and implementation of our proposed system. Then, we will demonstrate the results of various writing techniques of the regular script (楷書) of our system. Finally, we will also show that our system can be executed in real-time on general and cheap personal computers.
