Description
Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 化學學系碩士班 === 96 === A heterocyclic (thio-carbonate) containing has been synthesized from epoxy resin and carbon disulfide. Thio-containing polyurethane (PU) is obtained from an ring-opening reaction of this heterocyclic (thio-carbonate) with amino groups and it results in the thiols formation. Thiese thiols will have sulfur-sulfur bond formation on the exposure of air at ambient temperature. Finally it becomes a cross-linked thio-PU with sulfur-sulfur bonds. Due to the reactivity of heterocyclic (thio-carbonate) functional group toward to amino containing compound. Therefore, a trifuntional heterocyclic (thio-carbonate) is synthesized and characterized by spectrometric methods. It serves as a self-curing agent for aqueous-based PU. The physical, mechanical and thermal properties of these self-cured aqueous-base PU with this new curing agent are evaluated in this report.
