Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 中國文學系碩士班 === 96 ===   In general studies, it is considered that the narrative pattern of scholar-beauty novels falls into stereotype, and lacks of thoughts and artistry. Actually, the authors of the scholar-beauty novels consciously dodge techniques of narration which already exist so as to surprise the readers.   “Yu Jiao Li”, “Ping Shan Leng Yan”, and “Haoqui Zhuan” represented two different style of narrative pattern and became the mainstreams of the creation of scholar-beauty novels. After these three works, the following novels tended to falling into stereotype. Therefore this study attempted returning to the three original works mentioned above, and discussing the formation of narrative patterns.   In the beginning, the formation of scholar-beauty novels was discussed. Legend novels, dramas and erotica of Ming dynasty are of great influence on the inspiration of writing. Thus in chapter two, the three works was analyzed, and the viewpoints of romance in scholar-beauty novels were discussed separately in chapter three. In chapter four and five, how the plots and characters in the three work form a stereotype is analyzed. As creative model, “Yu Jiao Li”, “Ping Shan Leng Yan”, and “Haoqui Zhuan” mean even more.
