It is an important issue that how to combine the new system with the existing one and construct a better wireless communication network when the network operators plan a new network. In this thesis, a heterogeneous network performance enhancement software platform was built in order to reduce the cost and provide more useful reference resources for the network planners instead of imperfect traditional judgment by experience when planning a network. Then a better wireless communication system was achieved and the user can get more useful information. In this thesis, the indoor network software platform built by lab was continued to be further developed the mode including indoor and outdoor environments in the heterogeneous network and then the software can provide the users more useful information, for example, the received signal power level, SINR and throughput in mobile terminals, etc. In the aspect of cell planning, in order to match the actual need, the cell planning optimization for WiMAX system was considered when some base stations existed in the initial state. The genetic algorithms were used to deploy the locations of base stations and further optimized the cell planning for WiMAX in the coexistence of heterogeneous networks and then provided the whole environment with uniform and higher throughput distribution. In the optimal process, some paramaters like the base station types and numbers, throughput, SINR, etc, were taken into consideration. In the aspect of route simulation, the route simulation optimization was planned in the point of view for the user when the heterogeneous network base stations has been deployed completely. The software platform will provide relevant throughput information and network with better performances for user to choose. The software can provide user the detail received signal power level, SINR and throughput information. The cell planning optimization tool can provide the whole environment with uniform and higher throughput distribution and finally achieved a wireless communication system with better performance. 林信標 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 68 zh-TW
