Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 優質電力供電產業研發碩士專班 === 96 === This thesis evaluates the reliability of power distribution power system through Reliability Block Diagram as well as Fault Tree Analysis, FTA, to explore potential problems and abnormal conditions in the system, and then compare between those two methods. Furthermore, this thesis exploits Birnbaum’s importance rule to search for critical device of system bus under the constraints regulated by IEEE standard 493-1997 so as to improve the system, raising the overall reliability.
The study results show that, after omitting human factor and normal lifetime of machines, the probability of system faults depend mainly upon the amount of load to feeder, when the capacity distribution of load is unbalanced, the failure rate of operation will increase, lowers production efficiency and adds up the cost. In analyzing dependability of distribution system, we can evaluate the average fault rate of customer and fault rate of uninterruptible load. Besides, the results in this thesis can provide as reference for maintenance and replacement of devices and facility, which raises system dependability, and minimizes losses in the shutdown of uninterruptible loads. To verify the feasibility of propose method in this thesis, this thesis analyzes dependability of distribution system on distribution substation as a case study.
