Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 有機高分子研究所 === 96 === In recent years, more and more people are enjoyed in their leisure activities due to the promotion of living quality. Hence clothes with some performance such as water repellent and antibacterial properties are demanded. In our previous work, we have synthesized the dispersive dyes which have water repellent even oil repellent properties. Due to the lower surface tension of perfluoroalkyl group, water can not spread on the surface. Both of the halogens and long chain alkyl group have the function of antibacterial. Consequently, we synthesized a series of acid dye which have perfluoroalkyl group and expected it have the function of water repellent and antibacterial. The diazo components of 4-perfluoroalkyl aniline were obtained by using the Ullmann reaction. All of the dyes were obtained by coupling of diazo compounts with 1-amino-8-naphthol-3, 6-disulfonic acid respectivity. There coupling position were controlled by means of there pH value. The resulting chemical structures of these dyes were subject to Mass, 1H-NMR and IR investigation. Their color characteristics were studied by using UV/Vis spectrum. The resulting of the dyes were dyeing on the polyamide fabrics and compare there properties of water repellent and antibacterial. The antimicrobial efficiency of these treated fabrics against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa was evaluated by using AATCC100-1999 which was specified requirement of antibacterial textiles for general use. The test of the function of water repellency was as followed AATCC 193-2004. The results showed that all of the synthetic dyes had good antibacterial efficiency of inhibition against Pseudomonas aeruginosa than against Staphylococcus aureus. The dyes of series A which containing perfluoroalkyl group have good efficiency then it without perfluoroalkyl group. Dyeψ-B showed the best antibacterial efficiency than others in series B. The antibacterial efficiency of the dye STZ-B which was synthesized from sulfathiazole didn’t have a good efficiency as expected. In the function of water repellency, only dye C10-A and C8-A have a good grade. The former has fifth grade and the latter has fourth grade.
