According to the statistics of Taiwan every year, the biggest reason of 17% of fatal traffic accidents is the direction of the motorcycle headlight beam illumination not on the curved way ahead. By analyzing the regulation and standard of the international motorcycle headlight illumination, we can realize the AFS (Adaptive Front-light System) will be the tendency of the future motorcycle headlight development. It should fit in with the development of domestic motorcycle headlight illumination regulation. This thesis analyzes the numerical simulation of roll angle, steer angle and pitch angle with the motorcycle headlight dynamics. Then the headlight dynamic mathematics model will be set up for motorcycle on the curved way, and then the speed signal and velocity signal can be obtained. We can know the angle that headlight needs to adjust when motorcycle comes into the curved way. From the simulation results, we can realize that when the maximum motorcycle steer angle does not exceed 1.61°, the influence of this steer angle on the active-auxiliary illumination is only 0.7m. Therefore, the influence of this auxiliary illumination is not great. This thesis designs a 10Hz low-pass filter to control the adjustment of unnecessary high-frequency beam, in order to make the headlight system efficiency steady more, and the illumination efficiency will be increased. Generally, the motor headlight system with AFS still has the slow system reaction, high cost shortcoming. In view of this, this thesis develops the adaptive LED (Light-emitting diode) array of the headlight system that be applied to the motorcycle. The patent of this innovative motorcycle headlight system can make every light source diffuse the illumination angle of the continuous beam light with the dynamic adjustment of the three-dimension direction when motorcycle pitches, turns, rolls with different speed dynamics on different road conditions. Therefore, it can apparently improve the headlight illumination efficiency and illumination range in order to offer a safe-illuminated vision for the driver.
