The flux addition fractions are 5 wt%, 10 wt%, and 15 wt%. Fluxes NaOH and CaCO3 lowered the sintering temperature and increase bloat. The results indicate that 15 wt% NaOH addition to waste sediments and thermal treatment at 950 oC for 18 minutes can generate lightweight aggregate. Besides, bloating condition decreases with incremental addition of CaCO3. This is due to high melting point of CaCO3, so amount of CaCO3 addition must be controlled under 5 wt%. The bulk density of product from reservoir sediment density is 0.52.1 g/cm3 and the water absorption rate is 1.119.6 %. And density of the products of harbor sediment is 0.52.8 g/cm3 and their water absorption rate is 1.919.6 %. Their crushing intensity is 120130 kg/cm2.
